Hey there Friends, We are looking into these login issues and black character screens. Here is a word from a Technical Support staff of WoW: But the good news is that the developers are well aware of this issue and they are working to release a patch that would hopefully fix the bug. Unfortunately, there is no fix to this bug at the moment. Servers found my characters, but once i choose a character to log in to, it cuts out and shows error message “ character not found”.
Realm List shows 0 Characters, once I select a realm, it shows my characters – however, when trying to log in, it send me back to character selection and says “ Character Not Found”. Here is a forum user describing the situation: The missing characters bug on the other hand, is a different issue altogether. Hundreds of players are reporting about this. And it is not that like only 10-20 people are facing this issue. Is is hard to say whether the game is staying responsive or freezing at that point because nothing is visible.
